Ode to Oatibix!

Oatibix, you're a true, faithful friend

But I'm afraid our relationship is going to end.

The "New Recipe" splash looks so neat,

Problem is someone included wheat!

Each and every morning, you charge my day

The way you soften in milk is "lovely", I'd say.

As for your suppliers in town, I've been to each one,

Selfishly clearing the shelves was not fun.

So if there's another fan allergic to wheat,

Send them to the hidden lair on my street.

Sadly our problem is more than a plant

If there was a way to avoid it, we can't.

When we move to the States this next summer,

The Oatabix prospect will surely be a bummer!

Here's our supply - every box of "safe" Oatibix we could find in all of Harrogate (and yes, we looked completely crazy at the check out lines)!
